This country home includes a swimming pool, a private pond, forests, and fields and a stunning vista of it all from the back porch.  There is also a tennis court on the property and although it is at the end of a dirt road it is only 20 minutes from two towns with ample housing and services.

The fields and forests alone could fit the needs of many productions and because it is private property clearing it is not an issue.  In the forest there is a small waterfall, both rustic and groomed trails as well diverse stands of different trees.

There is additional property that is managed by another entity that would need to be cleared separately but the owner of the main property has a good relationship with them.

Colonial House Available As A Filming Location

This 300 acre property features a converted tavern built in 1775 and meticulously renovated to period accuracy, a pond with a dock, a barn that was recently built in a traditional style, several acres of fields surrounded by wood fencing, a large crop field (currently corn) that sits beneath a mountain view, a small farm house/artist studio with a vegetable garden in the front yard, several outbuildings, and a unique firepit/outdoor eating area with a stone pizza oven (to be posted soon).

I am still looking for more options of Lakes Houses to show the director next week.  They would need exclusive access to the house between the week of May 23rd and the last week of June.

Location Request: Upscale House On a Lake/Pond for Feature Film

I just received a request from a feature film that is thinking of shooting in Western Mass instead of New York State.  The entire film takes place at one location and the cast features many well known actors.  This would be a wonderful production to bring to the area and could lead to many more New York City based productions looking here instead of NY State.

Here are the details of the location request:

They are looking for a house on a lake or pond.  It should be upscale and not very modern.  Anything from a Victorian to a tudor to a farm house as long as it is in good condition.

It should be modernized but with some country charm.

The lake or pond does not need to be huge as long as its deep enough and big enough for a pair of kayaks to paddle around and spin.

There should also not be many houses in view from the property.  They want the house to seem as secluded as possible.

There should be a decent sized grounds surrounding the property that are landscaped.

If you own a similar property, know anyone who owns a similar property, or represent a similar property as a real estate professional please get in touch.  They would like to shoot in June so time is of the essence.
